The Real Estate Advocate was founded by Jeff & Patsy Guthrie in response to a negative experience they had when buying a home. They spent hours searching for houses on the Internet and calling real estate agents only to learn that these agents were not interested in getting the Guthrie’s the best price or best terms. The agents they spoke to were the “listing” agents (the agent who represented the seller of the home) and were legally bound to work at getting the seller the best price and terms – not the buyers.
The Guthrie’s firmly believe that EVERY family deserves the absolute best real estate experience possible. This means that they should be represented by the best Real Estate Professional (the REexpert™) and the best real estate related affiliates.
